How to Apply:
- Abrade – lightly roughen both surfaces to improve grip
- Clean – remove dust, grease, and moisture
- Prime – apply evenly and allow to dry before tape application
Application Instructions – NovaBond® Multi-Surface Eco Primer
For best results, follow these steps when applying NovaBond® Eco Primer:
- Open with care – release container pressure slowly to avoid splashing.
- Surface prep – remove heavy contaminants like dirt, grease, or oil using NovaBond® Multi-Surface Cleaner as directed.
- Shake well – ensure the primer is thoroughly mixed before use.
- Apply evenly – use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth to apply a thin, uniform layer of primer.
- Flash-off time – allow approximately 30 seconds for the primer to flash off. If over-applied, dry excess and wait 5 minutes before bonding.
- Porous surfaces – may require a second coat for full coverage and optimal adhesion.
- Second coat – ensure the first layer is dry before applying another.
- Skin contact – occasional contact is not harmful, but prolonged or repeated exposure is not recommended.
Storage
NovaBond Eco Primer will have a 12 month minimum shelf life stored between 5ºC and 25ºC
